It's been a While

Holy smokes, I can't believe this much time has passed since I've posted to the blog... Time flies, even when you're not having fun.... Also known as too much work to do -- and that's about all I can say about that!!

It's really foggy today. Visibility of less than a quarter of a mile where I live, which means we can't see the road from the house. Very isolated feeling, but I like it.

Today's the perfect day to bake some bread, and I think I'll select something from my all time favorite bread book -- Artisan Bread in 5 minutes a day by Jeff Hertzberg.

I will be spending the weekend finishing up some knitting and hopefully taking some pictures. How about you?

  1. Bread baking sounds good, but I think I'll make some curried squash soup, and have Hubby make Asiago biscuits to go with.

By the way, knitting some of your lovely MCN in blue with a grey that was in my stash for Stephen West's Clockwork. It is my Kitty Comfort shawl, to remind me of our dear Chloe who passed away last month.

Sending hugs to you & yours; Happy New Year!

  2. This New Years' Weekend entails entertaining Little Man (almost 8 weeks old now) and working...maybe knitting, probably frogging an entire sock. Oh well.
